honestly i didn’t enjoy it at all. this was the first time reading something by this author and i didn’t really know what to expect. i did like the writing style! and the storyline was interesting enough for me, and maybe it’s because i don’t usually read books of this genre that i didn’t really enjoy it. because i know my opinion is in the lesser side of things. I dont know perhaps i’d like it if i were to read it in a few years. the characters just didn’t intrigue me enough to be interested in the story. they had character and personality but not anything i hadn’t seen before - if that makes sense. once again i am aware that i’m in the minority, but i just really couldn’t get into the book/ setting.
