Oh dear, I really wanted to love this book but I just didn't
I was a huge fan of We were liars which, despite reading many years ago, has really stayed with me as a firm favourite
I have also read Genuine fraud by E Lockhart too which I also enjoyed
So I was very excited to read her new offering.... but sadly it just left me a little meh!
I really liked the parralel narratives as we went along, showing what else might have happened in any given situation, and I really liked the dogs which all had their own characters!
However, the storyline for me was just a little bland and unexciting. The characters seemed to flit between each other without me feeling like there were any really meaningful connections or point to them.
Maybe I missed something but maybe this book just wasn't for me.
