Love conquers all
This is a contemporary fiction.
It focuses on Adelaide Buchman who after witnessing her brother's suicide attempt, spent the summer idly working as a dog walker while her mother looked after her brother.
However, she broke up with her boyfriend Mikey and unexpectedly, she meets Jack. A handsome poet from a previous party with a dog that sweeps her off her feet.
This makes her view things differently and she ends up confronting her brother so deals with their situation head on.
When I first read the title, saw the cover and read the synopsis, I thought I would like to read this book because it initially sounded like a book about building oneself and your relationships. Having read it, I wasn't disappointed. I like how the author built the character of Adelaide and her relationship with Jack.
I think I would have preferred reading a paperback as I didn't like the font.
