My first initial thought is that the book is going to be filled with complex characters and emotion packed encounters. I felt drawn to Adelaide and her brother's story from the first paragraph of the book and I am interested to learn more about them and I think I may fall in love.
I'd like to find out if this book is a simple story of what its like to have somebody lean on you in the heat of their addiction. And to see how it ends...happy ending? Or does it end leaving a nasty taste in our mouths? Because after all we are all human and although we may like to think that if we were in Adelaide's shoes we would do the right thing, sometimes a mixture of hurt and love can make for a very toxic outcome!
