I was so excited to read this book and hated having it on my TBR pile because I just wanted to pick it up. Maybe I got myself too excited for reading this book though, because unfortunately it was not all I was hoping it to be. I liked the idea of it and the plot was great. Lenny's relationship with her dad was so perfect and her emotions really came through as she dealt with her dad's illness. However, I did not enjoy the relationship she had with her dad's doctor and it just fell a bit short of what I was expecting and wanting from this story. I loved that each chapter started with the black page showing some new information or a letter, that was really interesting to see and very different, but overall it just wasn't for me.
