Lenny's father is suffering with cancer, and her best friend Julian is moving far away from her. She constantly researches everything she can about her dad's cancer, to keep up to date. To cope with her untreated anxiety and OCD, she begins creating a list of all the ways the world can end - an obsession she gradually begins to strongly cling to. She also adores her father's oncologist, Dr Rad Ganesh. Lenny is shown as quirky and immature, while struggling to cope with her emotions, portrayed as a realistic girl with a burden of emotions.
Abby Sher has an amazing writing style and successfully keeps the reader engaged. She manages to get the reader to laugh and cry aloud! I feel that every reader (especially teens and young adults) will be able to relate to parts of the story in some way or another. A heart-warming Young-adult fiction!
