Although I'd read the first impression for this book and the blurb, I went into this not expecting it to be so heavily focused on cancer. Naive of me, I know. However, I recently lost my brother to cancer in April, and I'm not sure i would have picked this up had I known it would be quite graphic about terminal illness.

However, the book is beautiful. Lenny is the most adorable character, forever trying to help everyone and anyone. The storyline is quite basic, but I think is enough, as we don't need added drama to a beautiful book.

I think I would have enjoyed this much more had I not had an emotional connection to cancer recently. The cover is stunning, the characters are great and it's funny in places. Just not for me, right now.
