The cover and 'blurb' of this book looked exactly like the type of thriller I like. But once I started reading it, the style really annoyed me. The first chapter is very colloquial with words ending in g having apostrophes instead (hangin').
Making the town called Grace and a main character called Summer could be confusing too!
