Completely different to anything I've ever read!

I heard amazing things about this book before I read it, and I was not disappointed! Chris Whittaker has a unique and sophisticated writing style which sets All The Wicked Girls in a league of its own. I was transported into Summer and Raine's world, and could almost feel the ominous cloud above the town as if I was there myself. It was Whittaker's exceptional use of regional dialect and character development that made it almost impossible to put this book down.

The plot itself was extremely clever - we never meet Summer in the present, but the chapters dedicated to her reflected just how much of a presence she had in her town, and how much that presence was missed when she disappeared. I will continue to recommend this book to anyone who loves a thriller!
