The Wicked Girls by Chris Whitaker.
This is the first book that I have read by this author but unfortunately I just could not get into the book.
The basis for the story is quite good with the wayward sister looking into what has happened to her previously well behaved sibling who has gone missing and the settings feel authentic
For whatever reason the story did not grab me and I did not manage to finish the book which is unusual for me as I tend to finish the books that I start reading. Why that was the case I just don't know.
The writing is very good and does make you read the story in a southern American drawl and I am sure that it will appeal more to others so please make up your own mind
