Initially I was a little skeptical about checking this book out (I disliked a book by the author in the past) but the blurb left me intrigued enough to check out the 'First Look' and I'm definitely grateful that I did as I'm absolutely hooked. That introduction was chilling. I loved getting to start the book from a fairly unexpected point of view and I need to know more about the character whose eyes we were briefly seeing through. I want to know a lot of things but my biggest source of curiosity is down to 'Wildflower' and what exactly makes her so special? The later chapters were also well written and engaging, introducing characters who I'm already intrigued by. So far I definitely recommend checking this book out and I honestly can't wait to find out more. This is certainly a story with the kind of villain that intrigues me.
