The title of the book instantly caught my attention, although we haven’t seen it come into play yet. The cover was clearly made for a thriller novel, but I’m still not sure of what it is meant to represent. The blurb definitely made me excited about reading this book.
I found that the main characters were likeable and well developed for the beginning of the novel. I even found myself liking ‘Mr. Right Now’, not that I condone his actions but I found him to be a deep character with multiple
sides.
I thought that the writing style was simple and kept the flow. Details were provided to us but some things were left to our imagination.
What I loved the most was the small plot twist at the beginning. The author made it seem like Paige and “Mr. Right Now” were on an actual date. Spoiler alert: we then find out that he tied her to a chair and forced her to pretend they were on an actual date. Quite sinister if you ask me.
Overall, I have nothing negative to comment about this book.
