I was expecting so much from the overview, but I was sadly very disappointed. For the story was slow and never really got going enough to capture my interest. I could not form the characters in my mind enough so that I could remember them through out the story. For a story to be good I must believe in the characters and the plot. For this book I could do neither. I must admit though the book cover would draw a reader to it. I felt the writing was mediocre with a lot of unnecessary interest on either the clothes someone was wearing or the colour scheme of the house they were in. This was my first read by this author Joy Fielding and sadly my last as her style was not for me. It is not very often I leave such negative comments but I was so disappointed
