I really enjoyed the first impression I read and was super excited when I won the book - I reread the beginning to familiarise myself and was intrigued about the killer's obsession with Paige (Wildflower); I have recently watched the second series of Netflix's "You" and loved the stalker-is similarities between Mr Right Now and Joe Goldberg.

I found Paige's mother Jean's story a little off putting with constantly needing to go to hospital, and the rush to find a boyfriend resulting in her getting a tract infection from too much sex... I also didn't get the whole thing with the personal trainer and he disappeared quicker than he appeared.

Chloe's story was interesting but again I felt it was distracting from the story of Paige and Mr Right Now; I almost wanted to hear more about his killings... as sadistic as it sounds. I guess I thought that's how the story was going from the first read.

So as the story starts getting interesting again with Paige so close to meeting the killer for the first time the story ends suddenly with no explanation to what happens to Heather, Noah, Sam, Chloe after she's shot and Matt...

Overall I found the story really quick to read with short chapters and finished the book over 2 days an hour or so at a time, it's a nice easy read but I just felt it left a lot of questions/stories unanswered.
