Enjoyable but quite predictable

The synopsis initially drew me in as there is always a fear around meeting people online, are they who they say they are and what are their true intentions. I have to say this is not my typical genre that I read but I wanted to go out of my reading comfort zone and I am glad I got the chance to read this.

The first chapter had me hooked, I found the male character we were first introduced to in this chapter very chilling with his calm demeanour despite his horrifying intentions towards his victim. It then changes to Paige's point of view whom we assume might be the next victim.

Each time I put the book down, I did find myself reaching back to see what would happen next even though I did find some of it predictable.

I did enjoy this book even though the ending to me fell a little flat and anti-climactic. Although maybe this could be affected by the fact I don’t tend to read much thrillers so don’t really have any direct comparisons. This was just how I felt at the end of the book.
