I'd describe this as chick lit meets thriller and it's a fast read that can easily be done in 2 sittings. The story starts off 3 months ahead of the incident and then goes back to retell the events leading up to what happened. The book focuses on 4 women who are all very different , the main character is Paige and we also meet her mother Joan , cousin Heather and best friend Chloe , chapters are told from alternating narrators however it is quite easy to work out who the victim will be... It's a very modern type of thriller, looking at relationships, fidelity and the perils of online dating and I think it would make really good TV, sort of had a feel similar to the Netflix drama YOU. It was the first time i have read a Joy Fielding and I'd definitely read more.
