"All the Wrong Places" is the first book I have read by Joy Fielding, and I enjoyed it very much. The first chapter was intense and gripping, and I was very keen to find out how the rest of the story developed.

The novel mainly revolves around the perils of online dating, linked together with various relationship problems and a serial killer on the loose in Boston. You know right from the beginning that something awful is going to happen, and as the story evolves it becomes clear who the intended victim is. Tension builds throughout, and although I guessed what would happen at the end, this did not detract from the story at all.

Told from various points of view, including the killer's, the book is gripping in places, and amusing in others. It's full of both engaging and pretty frightful characters in equal parts. It's a quick, easy read, and very entertaining and enjoyable. I look forward to reading more books by Joy Fielding.
