I read the blurb and extract of this book. I was instantly hooked. I thought that this book was going to be a murder mystery with the many dangers of online dating incorporated. However, I found that drama within family was a theme that was more prevalent. I have to be honest and say that the novel was way less thrilling and exciting than I thought it would be.
Although the book was probably meant to be about the terrible dangers of talking within a stranger online and meeting them in real life, it seemed like the main focus was on the abusive husband and the mother’s love life.
The element of online dating barely appears. We also do not get to see much of Mr. Right Now, quite disappointing if you ask me.
Also not much of an element of mystery either.
Basically, all of the themes are elements that you would expect in it are not really there.
