'All the Wrong Places' by Joy Fielding was a different reading experience than I expected, and although it has an element of predictability, it has lots of positives.
I really enjoyed the opening hook and began to hurtled through it, expecting a psychological thriller, but there are different elements to the traditional thriller.
It does involve popular devices of online dangers, I read a few books that use this aspect. it's always a scary thought...of who is behind that profile or that carefully constructed image. There's up and downs and the character focus holds your attention.
I do think the great opening of the novel falls short a little, and I wanted more from this book. It is worth a read, as long as you don't mind the addition of some chick-lit in your thriller mix.
