The storyline is poor. In the 21st century, how many times have we been warned or questioned ourselves on blind dates reliability? That is the main theme of the book. The smaller storylines aren't interesting either. The writing is also not spectacular and the author explains things that would be better off for the reader to interpret, making it all forced and predictable.
I think this is a clear miss on what could have been a good thriller! During my read, I couldn't help but feel I was watching a poorly directed horror movie, with bad acting.
There was no room for suspense or anything left to imagination. The bad guy's thoughts feel forced and turns what was supposed to be scary into something pathetic.
