The cover is very atmospheric, capturing the setting of the novel and fitting the genre. I found the beginning intriguing - perhaps it is a little bit of a stretch that Clemence is asked to care for this man who is, after all, a stranger, but it's written so well that I'm more than happy to overlook this. Can't wait to read the whole book.
