Shockingly good
One of my favourites that I've read this year.
With a past and present narrative it's like reading two books at once the plot quickly thickens and it's pretty much impossible to put down.
Alistair has a gut feeling that something isn't right when he wakes up but he has amnesia. And through out the novel he follows the gut instinct which finally reveals the shocking truth.
An adventure of home truths faced by Alistair, his family and childhood friends who have fought to keep everything secret until Clemence finds a book which Alistair had begun to write before his accident. It is this piece of eveidence that is used to discover the long awaited truth, and trust me this is well worth waiting till the end to find out.
