Taking a peek into America's fictional future
It wasn't the cover of this book that drew me in but it's rather exciting synopsis.
Given current state of climate change, politics and public opinion in general, I found the whole 'America one century on' an intriguing premise, as following the best and the worst in people in difficult circumstances can make compelling viewing.
What I especially like in books similar to these is seeing how the world has evolved to present interesting ideas and alternative technology to cope with what time has thrown at it. Compare this with some people's morals and it often appears we have regressed to the stone age!
While the story itself appeals it lacked the 'bite' I had hoped for, so I'm gutted this one was not for me.
