I found this a little slow to read, yet not boring. Chris Beckett has a very good perception of what the world may be like in 100 years time. Self-driving cars. Robots doing all of our jobs. Crazy weather. Lets be honest we can all see a future like that. Maybe even with hover cars. I was worried that this would be an overly political book with it being about a fight for presidency etc. I will happily admit that I was wrong. Yes it is about elections and campaigns but but not all the boring stuff. It shows how if you say the right thing in the right way you can get people on board. Technology is used to manipulate people, create false stories or listen in to what people are thinking. That way they can create ideas based on what people actually want. And we think technology is already taking over.
