Firstly, the cover is bright and bold - it makes me want to pick it up and check out the blurb! The first chapter is hilarious, and instantly had me sympathising with Lolly.
Very quickly, the book moves on to delve into another character, Dustin. It's good that the characters are steadily being introduced. However, I was a tad confused as, having read the extract, I would have liked the novel to be about Lolly and the aftermath of the Steven event, but the blurb mentions that it is about Anna instead! I am suitably intrigued, and want to read on to find out how Anna fits in as Steven's sister.
