The sampler is a lot of setup and an introduction to the characters so it's not super exciting. However, it does give you a good idea of what to expect. The book really gives off teen drama vibes in the vein of Gossip Girl. The characters aren't particularly likeable but it will be interesting to see if they grow or, if they remain horrible, their lives thrown into chaos. I'm also intrigued as to what elements of Anna Karenina Jenny is going to play with. I think this book has the potential to be a lot of fun and ridiculous in a good way.
