I think that the first thing that attracted me was the cover. I love a good illustrated cover and this is just so pretty to look at and the colours are also quite cool. The next thing that attracted me to it was the premise because I think that a YA retelling of Anna Karenina was really interesting and I wanted to see where it goes. I also really liked the parts about the cast list at the beginning probably due to the size of the original book but it was an interesting part of the book. I also really enjoyed the writing of the book so far and I can't wait to see where it is going. The opening line was also really good.
