I went into Anna K without any expectations and I didn't really think that I would like it. I've never read Anna Karenina (this won't be accurate review on how well it was adapted), but that didn't stop me from falling absolutely in love with this story. The romance between Anna and Alexia was *chef's kiss* and I absolutely adored the story between Dustin and Kimmie. I loved the alternating point of views and I loved how absolutely over the top all of the characters are. That sometimes led me to feel out of touch with them and I couldn't really relate, but they were great characters anyways. All of the characters, even the side ones, were so well developed and had amazing story arcs.
So much happened during the end and I cannot wait for the sequel to come out in April. I have always thought that I don't like books that end in the way that Anna K did, but I couldn't help but love it. I need more.
