The only reason I have given this book 3 stars is because I feel like it misses something. I dont know what that thing is, but I just didnt get what I expected from the book.
I guess that rating is unfair, however, the first look inspired a story route and a set of characters and that was delivered in the full book. That makes me think one of two things, either there is something missing in the transition from chapter to chapter, or the book is more episodingc and a bit chunky. The later is completely ok, but the first seems like it is actually the reason. I feel a bit like there is a lack of transitional scenes from chunk to chunk and as such the plot bounces around.
With that said, the environment and characters are vividly creative and there is a clear aesthetic even in terms of writing.
