This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2020. I was excited about this from the moment it was announced!
So I’ve never read the Tolstoy original, Anna Karenina, meaning I have no idea how this compares to the original or how similar or dissimilar they are.
I loved this! I agree with the Crazy Rich Asians meets Gossip Girl. It was brilliantly written, entertaining, captivating. With retellings I always aim to read the original, but I enjoyed this one so much I don’t think I’ll bother with the original! I feel like this is such a good book on its own without the need for comparing it to the book it was inspired by.
I LOVE the cover. It’s so bright and the graphics are beautiful. Highly recommend!!
