Though this is definitely a young adult rom com style novel I did enjoy this book. I haven't read Anna Karenina, so I didn't really see any parallels with the story aside from the main character being called Anna K.
The book follows a group of privileged teens navigating love, school and parental expectations. Some of it is a bit pretentious and not very relatable, but I suppose that comes with this upper class level of society.
There is a lot of partying, a lot of drugs and can be quite over dramatic. The characters are well formed and you do really get to know them and understand their quirks and insecurities.
It's a fun, flirty, light read perfect for taking on holiday when you don't want to read something as intense as Anna Karenina!
