I didn't actually get this book through First Readers and purchased it myself. I was really attracted to the cover and the great reviews online and on first Readers! Having recently been to new york - prior to lockdown! - I was also drawn to the book and its setting. I loved the different characters and their lives, partners, dramas and felt the book was very readable. The quotes at the beginning of the chapters were intriguing and i grew to look forward to the next one! Sometimes you need a different style of book for a change, maybe I wouldn't have read this book if I hadn't seen the great reviews but I loved it. I will definitley be looking out for this author again and her next novel!
