oh my goodness did I adore this book. The characters are fascinating and you find yourself being sucked into Anna and the rests' antics from the very beginning. The descriptions are long and detailed which doesn't appeal to every reader but for me I loved the over-detail of the lavish life Anna is living.
I am a huge gossip girl fan and certainly felt the grandeur of the life Serena and the rest live is reflected within this book. It is modern and easy to get lost within, something that is incredibly important for the younger reader now-a-days. I as a 21 year old enjoyed it as a form of escapism from my mundane daily life but it was also devoured by by 16 year old sister, who also felt that the easy-to-read, dramatic and enjoyable nature of the novel is exactly what a reader looks for when picking up a Young-Adult genre book. I could have read double the amount of Anna K - I simply loved it.
