I have never read Anna Karenina but I actually want to have a go at reading this book now. It provided me with a lot of joy.
This book is really all about people's first loves and first heartbreaks which is something you can find many books on however this book kept that story fresh and exciting.
I love the New York City rich kids vibe the book has and it definitely has just a hint to Gossip Girl. What is not to love... Although many of the characters are quite unrelatable it's still a great book. I find I like books in which the situation is very different from my own.
I tend not to read a lot of YA books however I really enjoyed this one which surprised me. I could see this book could not be everyone's cup of tea but I really think it is a really lovely read.
I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the series that will be released hopefully in April.
