Some may call this book a "cheesy" and "cliché" romance. But I say it's a true reflection of the world around us. The situation that we are introduced to between Steven and Lolly is something we would hear walking through the halls at school and something very real. Although some parts are unrelatable (particularly relating to the upper-class wealth of some characters) the majority of what we read in the opening of the book is relatable. And I personally believe there is no other way that we can be so immersed in a book other than being able to put ourselves in the shoes of the characters involved. At first interaction with the book you're instantly on Lolly's side but as you read on you learn that the situation is multifaced and there's a lot of depth to it!

The wording of the books is easy to follow overall; however, be warned, there are some occasional swear words. Although at first, you're a bit shocked by this you soon get used to it and realise how truly fitting and humorous it is. Definitely looking to purchase this book and read on!
