Loved it
I really enjoyed this book, it is a modern day retelling of Anna Karenina by Tolstoy and I think it was spot on. I only read the original once when I was in high school so I don`t remember all the small sub-plots but this story followed the parts I remembered in a modern day Manhattan.
What I absolutely loved was the cover, the one I have looks like a gold plated Penguin Classic and the title and author are corrected with fuchsia lipstick. That was the moment I fell in love with the book it was so stunning I had to read it immediately.
What I did not enjoy that much were the multiple perspectives, although it was made easier by characters introducing each other. I found this a bit difficult to follow and when I got into a story another character took over and they I had to follow their perspective.
