I really enjoyed this modern day remake of the classic and can’t wait to see it brought to life in screen!
This had real crazy rich Asian crossed with gossip girl vibes for me as the chapters flitted from different characters perspectives quickly yet it was set around high school age characters but held its own unique appeal.
The characters were well developed and easy to differentiate when reading from so many perspectives which made the book flow well.
I’m not sure how I would feel recommending it to a teenager as there is a lot of sex and drugs but they are not glamourised so maybe I need to get with the times!!
It was an easy read full of drama, rich kids and romance, what’s not to love?
