I finished this book in a matter of days and absolutely loved it. It was very ‘Gossip Girl’ but in the year 2020. Think rich New York kids, drugs, sex, scandal, relationships & friendships.
The story mainly focuses on Anna K, but the different chapters throughout the book vary from a different characters perspective. Anna has been In a relationship with the same elite Alexander since she was 14 with her life pretty much planned out for her. However meeting the dreamy player that is Vronsky, makes her head turn. I was routing for Anna & Vronsky to have that happy ever after but (with no spoilers!) was left teary at the end.
I loved how all of the characters were linked in some way with their relationships and how at the very start of the book there was a character index explaining who each character was, which was helpful to flick back to if you ever needed clarity.
I’m happy for this book to have a place on my book shelf & feel lucky to have been able to review it before it is published in the UK
