This book was definitely not one for me. Perhaps if I was thirty or forty years younger, it may interest me. However, I doubt it. I did not move in these kind of circles when I was younger and I was not interested in rich kids getting their own way. In saying all this, I would imagine kids from the UK being interested in the lives of Manhattans young socialites. I thought the descriptions of characters were very informative. Also the back story of said characters was interesting. It gave them a depth the story needed. It certainly added meat to the bones of the story. I didn't like the abbreviation used for certain things. Apart from 'bf', I found it difficult to understand. Clearly a young person's book.
