This book is billed as a modern day retelling of Anna Karenina, set in the rich parts of New York with wealthy young socialites as the central characters. I have not read the original book, so cannot say how well it meets this description, but it was enjoyable enough, if perhaps aimed at a slightly younger audience. I found some of the dialogue quite irritating at times, but maybe that's just because I'm much older than the characters are!
I think all the main characters were well rounded, and it was useful to have the little list at the front to say who was who, and who was related to who, as particularly at the beginning I found all of them quite similar.
I enjoyed it, but think a younger audience may appreciate it more than I did!.
