I am not usually the most avid fan of having people on the cover of books but the hot pink really reeled me in, and that's definitely what the wiring felt like to me, bubblegum pink, outgoing, and delicious.

Straight away we are introduced to the female lead at a very low point in her life, and feel for her as an acquaintance. The writing style is quirky, with humour that is found in the banter between friends. Reading the extract I did not even realize the characters in the book and I, are worlds apart, the author does an amazing job in really setting the scene.

If you like sitting down with your girls and watching chick-flicks, I would definitely recommend you reading this book.

One criticism in the writing style is the lack of sentence starters, it seems everything starts with a character's name which is slightly pre-school writing. It just makes the content slightly boring, other than that, everything is swell.
