This is a modern retelling of Anna Karenina which in truth I have not read! So no idea how the two compare, however if you are a fan of Gossip Girl you will indeed love this book as it has that light forever moving forward feel to it.
The storyline was good but to be honest I struggled with the style and language as I found it a bit too young for me and also a tad light and fluffy, in a Gossip Girl way.
It did however tackle serious issues such and drugs and sex but these made me feel slightly uncomfortable like a conversation between teenagers. So I did struggle a bit with this book! I am going to pass it on to my daughter who undoubtedly with love it!
Overall it is quite a good, well written read.
