Right up my alley
As the description says, it seems like the perfect mix between Gossip Girl and Crazy Rich Asians - right up my alley and something that would be great to read transitioning into the spring - lighthearted and funny. The author has a distinctive voice that can be seen from the very first pages. Saying this, the writing style seems to lean towards a younger audience, with lots of modern references to technology and 'text talk' being brought out within the preview, but the characters have the potential to develop more in-depth, and I think it would be something fans of contemporary fiction would enjoy. So far, it seems to be a light read with an obvious sense of humour to it and I can't wait to get my hands on this book!
