I just knew I was going to enjoy this book, and damn right I was! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely a book that I enjoyed so much I couldn’t put it down! I would’ve read it in one sitting if I didn’t have to go to work.
Firstly, I definitely got gossip girl vibes but like, if gossip girl was made in 2020 when things are more diverse, accepting and politically correct. Everything seemed so right! The characters are well developed and from the get go you almost cringe about the kinda triangles that begin to emerge! As the story goes on you’re met with fantastic writing, shameless brand, music, and tv name drops (which usually I don’t like but it worked so well in this) and an incredible retelling of Anna Karenina! Absolutely fantastic! One of my favourite reads this year so far!
