I am really struggling with this book.
It started off well, with Steven's girlfriend finding out about him cheating and going into meltdown, and how he deals with it by calling his sister Anna to talk her down.
However, I am finding this book slow and tedious - it's taken me a week to get 100 pages in.
The characters are shallow,caring just about clothes, money and looks, and it just isn't gripping me at all. even Dustin who is intelligent is taken in by all this materialistic nonsense. They also don't speak or act like they are 16 - I kep being surprised by references to their ages.
I even thought the problem with Steven's girlfriend which was sorted out by his sister seemed to go on forever - it was like it was reported in real time.
I will persevere with it as I was looking forward to reading it, but I really don't think this is for me.
