Billy returns home to see his dying sister and bumps into an old love. She needs his help and Billy still in love is willing to do anything for her. What she wants is help to escape but is she all she seems and will she really want him with her?
Wow this was quite a ride. It's a brilliant thriller with plenty of twists to keep you constantly wondering just how it's going to end. As for the ending sheer brilliance. I love thrillers but they can get very similar, this one was so good. The cover is very cleverly done with the shadowy figure and the reeds. Adds to the mystery.
Billy is such an interesting character and I quickly warmed to him. He goes on quite a journey and we learn so much about him. I loved his sister too and her role in everything. I never liked Aimee from the very start but she was well written.
