I enjoyed Anything For Her, and would happily recommend. I like a good psychological thriller and this book did not disappoint. Despite the chapters alternating between past and present, it was easy to follow and the story flowed well. A couple of the characters turned out to be really unlikeable, and all were flawed, but really I felt sorry for Billy Orr and I know I would not have been so generous in helping an old flame after losing touch for more than a decade. The Vedra family was interesting too, and the differences in their characters were well portrayed.

I liked the setting of the book, both on the south coast and in the USA, and the places in the book were beautifully described.

The book was well written, but I thought that some parts could have been expanded and told in more detail, but on the whole I thought it was a jolly good read with an interesting ending, and I would definitely read more novels by G J Minett.
