I struggled to warm to the characters to start, and found that on the whole it was quite a slow burner! I was however intrigued to see where the author went with the story, and the motives behind Aimi’s cunning plan. When I reached the halfway point in the book, I was admittedly gripped and was looking forward to every plot twist that was yet to come. Whilst there were some twists and turns that were a little predictable, there was also some great curveballs! I did feel a little disappointed that certain parts of the story didn’t feel resolved when you reached the ending, and it would have been great if the author had tied everything in a little more. Certainly not the most exciting thriller I have ever read, but worth a read and I would happily recommend to a friend!
