Firstly I commend Robert Muchamore for such a raw and honest opener to his latest novel. Great to see and it really gives weight to the topics he is exploring in Arctic Zoo.
Muchamore is one of my favourite authors and I have loved everything he has written so far, but I must admit I was a little worried at the change of theme that this book's blurb suggested.
The first look is rather short and really just sets up the characters, giving little away about the plot, but it is unmistakably his novel written in his style which I like, it's also clear in just the opening pages that it's been thought through,planned and researched, and so i'm now more excited about the nature of this story than apprehensive and can't wait to read more.
I'm not sure it's main theme but the section about the drone racing was so detailed and interesting as well.
I hope this becomes another brilliant novel.
