From the first few chapters I can tell this isn't really a book for me (even the cover didn't draw my attention) although I did enjoy the mix of characters and the interaction that opened the novel. I would say I am curious as to where the novel goes but not desperate to found out. The writing is easy to read but the chapters bounce between people and places which I sometimes can find difficult. I would definitely need to read more than these first chapters to make a proper decision on this novel.
